It was through personal experience that Andrew was inspired to become an adviser. He has since gained considerable experience in the industry, particularly in the personal insurances space. Having been provided sound financial advice prior to a life changing accident it was the safe guards that were put in place as part of the advice he received that ensured his financial future was protected from such an event. Andrew is focused on providing his clients with the highest level of advice in relation to personal risk insurance. His extensive knowledge of the different products available in the market place ensures he can position his clients in the most appropriate structure to suit each of their unique requirements. Andrew is very aware of the responsibilities each individual has to their family in being able to meet and maintain their monthly financial commitments and cost of living.
Andrew completed his Diploma in Financial Planning with Kaplan and is due to complete the final unit of the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning with Mentor in the coming months.
If you are trying to get out of your meeting early don’t start talking to Andrew about Rugby. Having played School Boy and Senior Rugby until the time of his accident, it is his favourite topic of conversation. He also enjoys spending time with his children, getting out on his jet ski, gardening and travelling.
Brett has extensive experience in the financial planning profession and works with a variety of clients across Australia. He is passionate about his clients achieving financial success and enjoys helping them progress towards their personal financial goals. Brett is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and has completed a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning with FINSIA (2006) and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree at the University of WA (2002). He is a member of the Financial Planning Association, a Fellow member of FINSIA and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
In his spare time, Brett enjoys swimming and regularly competes in the annual Rottnest Channel Swim, including a solo crossing in 2015. He and his wife Paris also love to travel and see the many sights the world has to offer.
John commenced his career as a Market Analyst at the London Stock Exchange. After returning to Perth, John has achieved extensive experience in the Financial Planning industry through a variety of roles dealing with different clients from a broad range of backgrounds and situations.
John has attained his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) status from the Financial Planning Association, Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Financial Services with Kaplan, a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with Murdoch University and Masters of Electronic Commerce with Curtin University. John has also completed various specialised qualifications including becoming a Specialist SMSF (self-managed superannuation) Adviser with the SMSF Association (formerly SPAA), and completing qualifications in Finance Broking and Gearing.
John enjoys working with clients to help achieve their financial goals and objectives. The typical financial services he provides includes retirement and superannuation planning, self-managed superannuation funds, investment planning, wealth protection and estate planning as well as offering a regular review service to ensure their strategy remains appropriate and on-track.
In his spare time, John enjoys training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai as well as playing golf once a week. He also enjoys travelling and taking on new adventures around the world. In 2014 he walked up the Rwenzori Mountain range in Uganda, came face to face with gorillas and completed the Qxfam 100km walk for charity in Perth.
Trushna commence her career as a Corporate Taxation Analyst at Deloitte Touche Thomatsu in Perth in 2008 working with Mining, Oil and Gas corporate clients.
After completing her graduate program she moved on to specialize in Self-Managed Superannuation Funds working at a number of mid-tier firms in Perth.
In 2012 she commenced a role as a Manager of Self-Managed Superannuation Compliance overseeing the Superannuation Department in one of Perth’s leading Accounting firm.
She has joined Finwest Pty Ltd in early 2014 and assists John Lister heading the compliance of Super Centre Pty Ltd including facilitating the ATO Lodgement Compliance program.
Trushna has completed a Bachelor of Commerce specializing in Accounting and Taxation.
Chloe has extensive experience in financial services, commencing her career at National Australia Bank in 2006. She has worked in a variety of roles including as a Business Analyst, Lending Specialist and previously as the Paraplanner at Finwest. It was through a love for helping people achieve their goals and aspirations, that Chloe was inspired to become a Financial Adviser. Chloe is a passionate advocate for enhancing financial literacy and believes it’s something that isn’t taught enough in schools. She aims to empower her clients by breaking down complex financial situations to their fundamentals, therefore giving her clients a level of information and understanding, that enables them to make key financial decisions with confidence and peace of mind.
Chloe is a member of the AFA (Association of Financial Advisers) and has completed an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning. She holds her ASIC RG146 certifications in the areas of Advanced Financial Planning, Personal Insurance, Investment Planning, Superannuation, Estate Planning and Retirement Planning. Over the span of her career she has also completed various courses, workshops and qualifications, across a wide range of areas of financial service.
In her spare time, Chloe enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, camping, trying new foods, exploring new places and is especially besotted with her son Dagon.
Kelly comes from a background in property and investment. Starting in the Real Estate industry back in 2010, she has worked in all areas, from administration through to property management and assisting in sales. Being in the industry and watching client’s assets rise and fall has prompted her to focus on Financial Advice. Currently studying her Diploma in Financial Planning, Kelly has a passion for investing herself and wants to help others achieve their goals knowing their assets are protected.
