Brian started his career in financial services in 2012, beginning with risk insurance and progressing to Financial Planning with AMP in 2013. During this time, he has built many close relationships with clients. It was through experiencing their progression from financial uncertainty and anxiety, towards clarity, financial freedom and peace of mind; that Brian started to develop a passion and purpose in Finance. For Brian, it really comes down to the people, to be able to make this difference and actualise clients’ aspirations and goals is very fulfilling for him. Brian is aware that successful long-term Financial Planning is founded on trust and understand that it is our responsibility to prioritise clients’ interests and to be reliable and very competent in what we do. Brian decided to extend his financial literacy, completing his Bachelor of Commerce at the University of WA (UWA), majoring in Finance and Accounting. After completion, he was invited to teach Investment Analysis and Introduction to Finance at UWA.
Brian is also a member of the AFA (Association of Financial Advisers). In addition to his Bachelor of Commerce, he has also completed a Diploma in Financial Planning and holds RG146 certifications. He has an earnest curiosity and inquisitiveness and has an insatiable thirst for knowledge. Naturally he is always looking for ways to add value in his advice, especially in optimising financial efficiency, wealth creation and management, managed investments, superannuation, retirement planning, cash flow analysis, financial protection and estate planning.
Outside of work, Brian likes to keep active, he is a huge basketball fan, likes yoga and going to the gym. He also likes to read all kinds of books, travelling and trying new foods.
